I am a registered nurse, and board certified lactation consultant. I have been a nurse since 2006. Through the course of my nursing career, I have been privileged to work in home care with medically fragile children; in a private practice office assisting with family centered care; in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit as a team member of specially trained nurses for infants requiring special medical attention.
During my time in the NICU, I have had the privilege of working with many breastfeeding families. Through that experience, I have developed a passion for the family centered breastfeeding relationship and the nutritional benefits of breast milk.
I am a resident of Gig Harbor, married, with 3 young children. I also have a passion for baking and enjoy a nice “hot” cup of coffee. I am a compassionate, calm individual who strives to always be honest. I take pride in the knowledge I have gained as a nurse and lactation consultant, and I am confident I can help you work through your personal breastfeeding struggles, answer your questions, or listen to your needs.
It will be a privilege to work with you and your family.
